Yes, there's now an app called 'Diablo 3 Server Checker'. Use it to monitor the real-time status of Diablo III servers in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Yep, looks like the troublesome launch of Diablo III this week has really angered players with frequent server maintenance and emergency patching.

Well, Android dev Eluamous (who was also responsible for other apps like "WoW Realm Checker" and "SWTOR Server Checker"), has developed a "Diablo 3 Server Checker" app, which allows players to monitor the real-time status of Diablo III servers in the US, Europe, and Asia, without bothering to log into your PC or Mac, of course.

The devil’s in the details

Worse still for Blizzard is the fact that the Diablo III offers no real offline, single-player mode and is essentially unplayable when the servers are down due to aggressive, always-on DRM requirements.

While Diablo 3 Server Checker will not help get Diablo III online and stable any faster, it's free and its tiny profile (517k) make it a great tool for planning your social life around Blizzard’s unpredictable - and extended - server maintenance.

PC version please?

because if the server is down i would like to know when it's back up WITHOUT starting the game and trying to log in every 10 minutes...
would be to easy if the game launcher itself or the Diablo homepage gave me that info
