DMC: Devil May Cry delayed

Capcom has announced that the upcoming DMC 'reboot' will now be hitting on January 2013. Also, a PC version has been confirmed.

DMC: Devil May Cry, the game reboot developed by Ninja Theory has been delayed and it will now release early next year.
Also, a PC version has been confirmed.

Capcom's Devil May Cry revamp DMC won't make it to store shelves this year, but it isn't missing by much. Capcom today announced the next installment in the action franchise will launch January 15 in North America and Europe. That date covers the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, with a PC edition "well underway" and set to follow later in 2013.

Well, there you go. With other major releases also missing the 2012 release window, looks like early 2013 could become a new "holiday season" for some.

i dont get why capcom decided to re-vamp teh DMC franchise, i prefare the origional dante to this new one, this really throws the whole DMC universe to sh1t considering DMC 3 dante and virgil both had white hair but now dante (maybe same age as in DMC3 or a little older) has black hair.

I really would have liked if capcom made a game based arround Sparda, when he defeated mundus and his army and sealed the main gate to the underworld trapping mundus which then lead to Eva, dante and virgils mother been killed.
