A new and FREE DLC pack is coming to Mass Effect 3 on May 29.

The Rebellion Pack for Mass Effect 3 was leaked last week, but today it has been officially announced. The next DLC for the game will include two new maps and three new weapons. The DLC will also offer us the possibility of unlocking an ex-Cerberus character who has two wicked looking electric whips and a Vorcha. The missions will now have a new random objective occurring on waves 3, 6 and 10.

This DLC pack will be absolutely free to download starting on May 29 so you can't miss it.

So no rush to fix the hacked up for DLC ending then, just trying to cash in on the online shooter crowd. Ok it may be free but this is EA, you know it's only there to wet the appetite before they start charging.

this game sold well but its price has crashed and there are preowned copies everywhere (i picked up the ce for £20) so giving away free maps to those stupid enough to pay full price for any game with an online pass (or buy one later) is about the only way they have left to stem the tide of players fleeing the games multiplayer, if they had to pay for it then whats left of the online players would be fragmented even further.
