Konami has revealed a ton of information on Zone of the Enders HD Collection’s Japanese release. Also, Kojima teased a new project which is still in 'experimental' stages.
Konami has revealed that the ZoE HD collection will launch on October 25th (in Japan and will be available for PS3 and 360 both either on a disc or as a download.
Also, Konami will release a special edition ‘Premium Package’ version of the game:
Here are a few screens from the HD collection, including its SE package:That comes with a special box, a remix CD and two booklets commemorating the original releases and remake respectively. There’s a ‘Konami Style’ version of this special edition too which will only be sold at the Konami Style online store.
- Additionally, a new “Enders Project” was teased by Kojima, which is still in an "experimental" phase.ZOE HD includes HD remakes of Z.O.E. and its sequel Anubis. The visuals have been updated to 720p HD and bumped from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second. Visual effects have also been improved, as has the quality of background music and sound effects. Similar to the Metal Gear remakes, Konami has swapped out 2D elements and fonts with new HD assets.
Also, apparently, he's looking into the feasibility of making the game using the developer's Fox engine.
