the ps3 version is loads better for the money although why no code veronica is included i dont know, seems silly.

i also wonder if this time around the games are going to be complete on the disc unlike the 360's resident evil gold edition that was just the standard version with a dlc code.

Probably doesn't have it because it's a spinoff. In theory they could include all spin offs, HD remaster all those PS2 ones and that. If they ever decide to do that then the collection would be incomplete.
I guess they put it in the 360 version just to even things out a bit, since without it wouldn't have much compared to the PS3 one.

and yeah, I wonder if they will run off the disc. The "Revival Selection" (only released in Japan) had you install the games to your HDD and just use the disc as an activator for the games. (It had the 2 PS2 HD ports)

I beg to differ, Code X is most certainly not a spin off. You are talking about a game centered around Claire Redfield fighting umbrella, how can that be a spin off?

As far as these collections... 360 got screwed bad. It may not be a spin off but I would take any of the first 3 games over Code X any day. Supremely better games IMHO.

yeah, that revival selection was a great set, pity it never came west.

since its piss easy to port between 360 and wiiu i thought maybe that crapcom could have done an even better collection on the wiiu, since nintendo consoles already had the widest selection of res evil games, a wiiu version with res evil 0, re:make, 2, 3, code veronica, 4 and the two rail shooters would have made a great pack if sold with straight ports of the 360 versions of 5 and 6.
