E3 2012: Angry Birds HD coming to consoles courtesy of Activision

Apparently, a promo reel shown off at the Activision E3 booth included a small hint at the publisher's involvement with Angry Birds.

That's right, a teaser reel running at Activision's E3 booth has one of the Rovio's birds coming in and pegging the publisher logo.

And, according to a spokesperson we'll have to look for an announcement in the next few weeks, adding "Wait until you see it on consoles in HD."

Nothing has been announced formally, and no platform was listed, but it's surely coming.

Activision?... oh great, another series they'll find a way to butcher. You would think something as simple as Angry Birds can't be mucked up, but trust me Activision will find a way to piss off the developers and the fans of the series... Bad move Rovio, very bad move.

Nah they won't charge you for the 3 birds, they'll charge you for EVERY BIRD you use!

... I think given your quick evil ideas, you 3 can expect job offers from activision soon, or ubisoft if they read the ideas first.
