Sony shares fall to 1980's levels

id say ms has more to gain then any other company by purchasing sony. ms doesn't have much of anything for hardware. ms would want the hardware (tvs, etc) of sony, apple would want the music, nintendo would want the.. well i think nintendo is happy where they are lol.

but odds are it won't be any of these companies... itll probably be something stupid like the japanese government.

What Sony needs is something like another 'Walkman' just like Apple got rebuilded with their iPod.

They need a NEW 'must-have' product.

Everyone has a iPod, iPhone, iPad, and everyone has TV, DVD, VCR, Blu-Ray, Radio, and everyone has a Wii, X360, PSP, PS3, 3DS.

Just pushing better graphics, or even lower price, or better quality and just relaunching the same stuff in smaller case, or more hardware under the hood just is not going to make it work anymore.

Something NEW has to come along, of course not sure what it is, if I knew that I would be busy building it myself (hehe).
