Exclamation VIA Technologies accepting pre-orders of its new Android barebones

The Neo-ITX barebones are now in the pre-order stage

49$ to run Ice Cream Sandwich APC on a 800Mhz, 512MB RAM, 2GB storage mini PC.

These are not nano-PCS on a USB stick but very tiny barebones that are capable or running a modified version of Android 4.0 to be used with Keyboard and mouse. The specs are not very impressive but enough to calm your basic multimedia requirements if you don't depend on heavy 3D gaming of course.

    According to Engadget:

VIA Technologies' small -- but not bite-sized -- Neo-ITX-based barebones Android PC is now up for pre-order. Folks willing to plunk down $49 now will be among the first to play with the APC's version of Gingerbread that's been modified for use with a mouse and keyboard. When can you expect the return on investment? Well, it's slated to ship in early July, meaning you'll get your hands on its 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 2GB of storage before the end of summer.

Yeah good luck selling those things with their $35+ shipping charges. I was all happy-go-lucky thinking of ordering one, when suddenly my $50 project became a $90. No thanks, I'll stay playing with the Raspberry Pi.
    LOL! The TROLLZ LIVE!
