the amiga line seems to have lost its way, from the amazing pc cards to the horrid amiga pc that made alienware pc's look like good value or that frankly dreadful pc in a c64.

The original stuff is long gone, buried in filing draw.

Both names 'Amiga' and 'Commodore' were recently sold-off as 'brand names' to those that wish to use it, along with the logos and trademark.

It was the only thing left to be sold-off after the original shell of company was bought up for it patents and buried into a trash bin, after many years of collecting dust with talks of launching something new.

All this new crap you see is just that crap with the name slapped onto it.

Any company could have bought the name and logo they were available cheap.

So many brand names are like that, the most recent one sold off cheap was 'Game Genie' as that company is long gone also.

Same as in the best the SINGER brand-name (remember sewing machines), for some crazy reason it was bought and used for computer name also.

The most traded brand name over the last decade been the 'Memorex' label.

Same thing as the 'Atari' label that been traded a few times amoung video gaming houses, nothing left just a 'sticker' you can buy and own for a few years.

Atleast we know who Atari, Commodore etc.. really is. Too bad most people dont.

I didnt know about Singer and Memorex name changes thou..but its cool info.

I think its very lame to use old famous brands on new stuff which doesent have anything to do with the original company.
Atari and Commodore is the worst name stealing.

It's almost like a Hamburger chain would use the Nintendo name, or Sony...in the future..

Wii U including expensive Gamepad now costs less than a VITA, and only less than 1/3 of the price of Xbox One or PS4.
