E.X. Troopers (Lost Planet Spin-off) gets new trailer/details

The upcoming Capcom E.X. Troopers game doesn't look at all like Lost Planet, but still takes place in the same world. Check out the new trailer inside!

E.X. Troopers is an upcoming anime-esque spinoff of the Lost Planet series. Well, it doesn't look like Lost Planet aesthetically, but takes place in the same world.

The game will also feature a multiplayer mode, but Capcom didn't reveal a lot of details. They also released a new trailer at this year 'Game Jam' event.

E.X. Troopers is being written by Dai Sato, who worked on the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Eureka 7 anime series. In order to promote the game, Capcom have contracted anime studio, Satelight, to produce an anime movie, which will be included with Sengoku Basara HD Collection in August.

The game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS and PS3 this year (at least in Japan).
