Exclamation Resident Evil 6 demo now available for Dragon's Dogma owners

For now, exclusively on the XBOX 360.

The Resident Evil 6 is now out on Xbox Live. However, its currently only available to those who purchased Dragon's Dogma...

Yep, the Resident Evil 6 DEMO is now available to download... but only for owners of the Xbox 360 version of Dragon’s Dogma.

The DEMO features three missions, each giving "distinct experiences". Here are their descriptions:

    - Play as Leon S. Kennedy alongside Helena Harper and explore the dark confines of the Ivy University campus and the zombies that fill its hallways.

    - Select Chris Redfield’s mission and head to China for an intense encounter against the deadly J’avo with BSAA colleague Piers Nivans on the rooftops of Lanshiang.

    - The third mission shifts the action to the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and sees Jake Muller and Sherry Berkin trying to escape the relentless pursuit of the Ustanak, one of the new B.O.W.’s being introduced in Resident Evil 6.
This one will be exclusive to Microsoft's console for two months.

The PlayStation 3 demo will arrive on September 2, and it will be available to the general public on September 5, 2012 (for those who refuse to purchase Dragon's Dogma).

    I played it.

Demo is divided in three parts.

    Leon, Chris and Jake.

Leon part is brief. In 30 minutes, only 2-3 minutes are action, all the rest is only walking and video.

Chris, is full action with some video.

Jake. Is action and after there is a boss.

For your info, the demo is not restricted to Dragon's Dogma owners, it has been leaked online some days ago on torrent sites and you can run it without a hacked console .

As for the playing, i liked the Leon (the atmosphere is very classics Resident evil) part but as for Chris i really hated it, the camera is moving like crazy, your character fills almost 50% of the screen, when you aim even more, the image is very zoomed in and you can't really know what is happening. I hope they fix this because is very very annoying don't know what are you doing or where the enemies are exactly.

This evening i'll try the Jake's one and see what happens.

Yes I can confirm the torrent download works, dl'ed it about two days ago and works perfect. And I also agree 100% with what you say about the aim and character zoom problems; I really hope they fix this in the final product. Also Im not sure if its just cuz its a demo, but the load times are dreadfully long. Capcom has some work cut out for them.
