The alternative kernel for Acekard receives another update



AKAIO, the best alternative kernel for the Acekard flashcart has been updated. Fixes all the recently released DS Pokémon games.

AKAIO is an alternative firmware, for the multiple flashcarts of the Acekard family (AceKard 2, 2.1, 2i, and R.P.G.).

With tons of useful features, this is definitely the best kernel for AK.

The new v1.9.0 has been released, and includes lots of fixes including Pokemons (Pokemon Black & White Version 2, Conquest, Nobunaga).

Here's the changelog:

+ More of a "Game Fix/Compatibility" release
+ Pokemons, Pokemons, Pokemons compatibility fixed
+ Updated to compile with latest DevKitArm
+ Cheats updated to CMP Cheat code Database version 6/29/2012

Well, however, it looks like there's an issue with Pokémon Conquest, which they plan to fix with a loader update:

Notes: "AKAIO 1.9.0 Loaders
We're aware Pokemon Conquest is not working; we thought it was.
Use the 'Game Enabler' cheat code on a Clean ROM for now.
Updated Loader will be on this page soon enough"
