Exclamation Nintendo cuts 3DS AC Adapter price in Japan

A small discount for Japanese gamers

Nintendo will cut the Nintendo 3DS AC Adapter price in Japan from ¥1,500 to ¥1,000.

As you already know, Nintendo will not include the AC Adapter with the Japanese version of the Nintendo 3DS LL, so they decided to make a discount from ¥1,500 to ¥1,000.

Anyway, you should know that the Nintendo 3DS LL can use your current 3DS AC Adapter or the AC adapter from your DSi or DSi LL.

**** you nintendo, stop being greedy bastards and include the transformer.

we now know the Xbox One's game licensing policy was written from the ground up for companies. It's aggressively anti-consumer and anti-middle class, and it outright ignores underprivileged gamers. It's gross, despicable, greedy, pathetic, cowardly and out of touch with a growing global resentment for corporations. - Polygon 7th June 2013

I agree, I found a web page that has the 3DS USB charge cable for $1.90 no shipping charge no tax's and thats with a profit so I am sure Nintendo can at least include that much.

its ok for you, you get charged $20 more and that includes a psu, we are getting fucked over for around $101 extra over the cost of a standard 3ds + psu + cradle (£45 more for the xl and £20 for the charger + cradle)

well done nintendo, release a new system minus its charger, im sure this should be illegal, when you sell a product it should come complete, it requires a charger in order to function as advertised, not only are nintendo forcing its gamers to yet again buy its circle pad pro to controll some games as intended, theyre now forcing you to pay extra for a charger.

i allways classed nintendo as cheap skates, cutting costs at their end as much as possible, but this really does take the biscuit, all nintendo care about is MONEY MONEY MONEY, feck you customers, give us your MONEY MONEY MONEY.

i agree completely, how dare they sell an electronics device with an inbuilt battery that doesnt include a means to charge the damned thing, like you i really think this should be illegal.

if it isnt VERY clear in the advertising and on the box i would hope people will make reports to trading standards once its on sale as without a power supply or usb charger of some kind then it is simply unuseable without buying the extra psu or a 3ds.

but even if it does state on the box, i know nintendo will not put it in big bold red letters DOES NOT INCLUDE CHARGER, CHARGER SOLD SPERATELY theyll likely put some small text on the side or back of the box, but this isnt something a consumer would look for, especially when its safe to assume it would come with one, like any other electronic product.

i mean i know i dont like ninendo (mainly down to is games and forced motion controllers) but this takes the biscuit, not only is this the version they should have released first time round, and done this deliberatly because they know majority of those (if not all) will go out and buy this aka DOUBLE PRINTING MONEY and ninendo dare force **** more money out of your hands.

Ohh lets also add the fact theyve not added the 2nd circle pad, which would be very beneficial for 3DS games such as MGS, RESIDENT EVIL, SPLINTER CELL and all the other games like this..... and before you dribble billy, no it wouldnt mean all future 3DS games will only require both analogues, if your view is the case, then why have nintendo added dual analogues on the wii u controller if this is going to make devs forget about the touch screen.

once again i agree with what you say other than the last bit, on a home console sadly dual analogues are required not for gameplay as you correctly say the touch screen could be used but simply to get those much needed ports of multi platform games with the touch screen being used as little more than a map or inventory and a shooting gimmick as already seen on vita, i've already stated and you picked up on the fact that the 3ds doesnt need a second analog, oh and sadly splinter cell doesnt allow you to use a second analog it just has really shitty controls that seem ported straight from psp with added 3d, its an absolute piece of crap to play, i was really disapointed with it as the 2 tom clancey games were two early purchases i made and whilst the rts type game works fine (but doesnt need the 3d) the splinter cell game looks good but is about as playable as mgs3d without a cpp.
