An interesting workaround for the lack of expandable storage.

A XDA community member has managed to hook up a keyboard, mouse and a floppy drive to play Ultima using DosBox on the Nexus 7, simulating a nice retro setup.

XDA community member nicknamed 'c0m47053' has made a pretty neat 'mod' that not only solves the Nexus 7 lack of SD Card problem, but also converts the ASUS-made tablet in a nice retro-gaming machine...

Using the StickMount app available on the Play store, which allows users to mount/dismount mass storage devices, he was able to connect the ASUS-made tab to a USB hub and hook it up to a keyboard, mouse and, most amusingly of all, a floppy drive -- to play Ultima on DOSbox, of course.

It goes without saying that a feat of this kind requires root access, but thankfully that's what Mountain View made the Nexuses for.
Pretty awesome right? Well, he didn't release any specific instructions, but considering all the required apps are available on the Play Store, it doesn't seem to be too hard.

Remember that you will need a rooted device if you want to try this, and it apparently could work with any Android device.
