True Blue - News Update regarding new dongle style

After two months of silence, the TB team have updated their customers on what is happening!



After a panic month of rumors regarding TB releasing a new dongle, they have issued a 'statement' with the facts on what is up, and promise full firmware support for existing users of their PS3 dongle

The True Blue team will soon be launching an updated version of our dongle, hence our silence and lack of news/updates. The changes include a new style casing to help differentiate clones from the authentic True Blue dongles. The new version dongle will be compatible with EBOOT patches released to date, whilst existing authentic True Blue dongles in the market will continue to be supported in the same firmware releases. You can expect a spate of EBOOT releases shortly after the new version dongle is released. We also plan to include a lot of extra features for our loyal True Blue user base in upcoming firmware releases, which will also function seamlessly on existing authentic True Blue dongles.

We would also like to bring to our potential customers and existing users attention that the website: truebluejb2.cc is selling FAKE dongles. We are in no way associated with them nor will we replace or support their fake dongles.

Information received suggests that they have not yet cloned our new style packaging, so large qty's of devices in the market which do NOT come packed in the packaging detailed below (30-5-2012 news) are most likely fake. We will continue to monitor the situation daily. The upcoming new firmware releases will also block the clones and help users differentiate fakes from authentic dongles.

Upcoming firmware releases will block these fake devices and furthermore EBOOT's will not support the clones. PB2 and JBking clone devices will also be blocked in the future and will not function correctly with our upcoming features!

The clones sold by truebluejb2.cc can be differentiated by checking the PCB inside the casing using the guide below, as previously posted in news.

With E3 Team annoucement, saying that they will release some more free eboots and news on something to play backups (dongle related, off course), i must say that True Blue Team must hurry up, because a lot of potencial "new buyers" are waiting on what E3 can do (patch DLC´s; new games; etc..). If E3 Team can deliver on faster eboots and more patches on DLC´s, then True Blue will fade away...

I have a feeling the E3 dongle is complete b u l l s h i t and will never happen. TB is the only legit source due to the fact that they have been legit. We shall see what happens.

The "latest" news, have been given by Jerry, from Lightake, stating, on 4th August, that his supplier has told him, that True Blue will be released on 10 days (14th August).

But, truth be told: i don´t believe in anything... i think True Blue team is very sneaky, but, without a true alternative, there isn´t much we can do to play 4.11+ backups...

Meanwhile, i am playing Resistence 3, a game that has been fixed in 10 minutes, after the 3.60 keys released, and never released by True Blue Team!

To True Blue Team: All the 3.60 games have been fixed with 10/15 minutes of work!! Why always so much delay on releasing the eboots?!!!

This is a very strange thing, see now that most of the eboot for TB are also compatible on cfw 3.55 without the dongle leaves us a bit sobering for us owners of the dongle, but the cases, there may be many,
We must always consider that until a few days ago in addition to the True Blue there was no way to play the backup 3.60 , and now they have found the keys and was able to fix many eboot in a few minutes, It is also question why games like Resistance 3 or Pes2012 were not issued the eboot for TB but only with Bd special ...


For the question of the keys perhaps they find also thanks to the method cex-to-dex that has made much progress and can even start backup 4.11 as The amazing spiderman, which is still the team TB has not issued eboot.


What I wonder is who knows if they will find other keys free or the True Blue will continue to have advantage with new eboot on the upcoming future games and then you will return as before, also because i think always that without them (until you release the keys 3.60 ) at this time we would have remained with the keys 3.55 ... and then

My best guess is, they weren't just cracking eboots with the latest firmware keys, but adding in their DRM/Clone destroy code/ making the eboots only work with TB FW and Dongle is what takes all the time. that or they have a method of cracking eboots without the keys, which is why they can do much higher FW eboots, but it takes longer.

I repeat, for me the keys are outputs thanks to cex-to-dex nothing more, True Blue is and also to make money but if it wasn't for them until a few days ago the situation was always the same, to play the backup 3.60 had to buy this dongle,
