I have yet to see a 3D film in the cinema that actually has anything massively noticable in 3D. The only 2 films I can think of was Avatar but only the floaty plant spore things (as in the only parts of the fim anyone can usually recall being in 3D even tho they rave about it) and the gravel or whatever it was in the storm in Prometheus. On TV's it's a tad better, tho mainly on the polarised 3D screens as the flicker glasses ones tend to just give me a headache (not to mention they are abysmal for 3D gaming via HDMI due to the low framerates at 1080p, tho HDMI plain sucks ass as an option over VGA, DVI or Display Port options anyway in most cases due to those 1080p fps issues). Unless the 3D is intentionally over the top, and so looks etremely fake, 3D for most content is pointless if let alone noticable. 3D is good in theory, but fails in practice.
