I have yet to see a 3D film in the cinema that actually has anything massively noticable in 3D. The only 2 films I can think of was Avatar but only the floaty plant spore things (as in the only parts of the fim anyone can usually recall being in 3D even tho they rave about it) and the gravel or whatever it was in the storm in Prometheus. On TV's it's a tad better, tho mainly on the polarised 3D screens as the flicker glasses ones tend to just give me a headache (not to mention they are abysmal for 3D gaming via HDMI due to the low framerates at 1080p, tho HDMI plain sucks ass as an option over VGA, DVI or Display Port options anyway in most cases due to those 1080p fps issues). Unless the 3D is intentionally over the top, and so looks etremely fake, 3D for most content is pointless if let alone noticable. 3D is good in theory, but fails in practice.
    My gaming systems -
    Consoles - Wii, Xbox 360 Elite, Xbox 360 Jtag Jasper 2TB 3.5" HDD, PS3 60GB UK launch version, PS3 hacked with 500GB 3.5" HDD (2TB wouldn't work ).

    PC - i7 3930K @4.6GHZ, Asus Rampage IV Extreme, 2xRadeon 7970, 32GB DDR3, 4TB Raid HDD (4X Samsung Spinpoint F3, SSD boot drive OCZ Vertex 3 120GB )

These are gaming systems I am biased towards (may as well throw in everything from last gen and before as if the PC can emulate it I am likley to have it)

I read yesterday that "they" expect 3D to be even bigger, and also that there is no stop in sales on 3D BR.

There was one thing i didnt believe. By 2016, they expect 41% of all households in Europe to have a 3D TV.
This is bullshit. I can see an increase of 3D sales of course, but nearly 50% of europe in only 3-4 more years?
Someone is very unrealistic. I can see that more millions of TV's is sold by that time of course, but 41% marketshare..Not before sometime after 2020.
3D isnt spreading that fast at homes.

Somehow the 41% is lowered to 35% today.

Why is so many people defending EA, when they are a shit company with yearly shovelware? They even won a prize for it twice.

A thought happened to me today, mark this on your calender! I was victimized by my own brain!

Live plays are all in perfect 3D, just need to add some explosions and better special effects to those... Solves so many problems with one stroke, jobs for a lot of people health care would get a giant boost from all the accidents no need for weird glasses. Not only that but if the play sucks balls you can actually yell/throw things at the actors! Talk about interactive entertainment!

All jokes aside I am lucky enough to be close to some actual live performance theaters, I might just have to go check them out. Get away from Micheal Bay and his latest "ElXpLoSiOnS!!!11!11!!!" movies.
