I have a raging nerd boner right now. Okami is possbily the best game I've ever played. My favorite remains Morrowind, but that has a lot of flaws I have to overlook. Okami is just perfection.
I used to fanboy consoles in my sig. Now I'm not so sure they are worth my love. Steam has done more for me than all 3 consoles combined this gen.

Unless they are tarting it up, and all I have seen of it so far makes it look like a res increase, then if you have the option get the PS2 version and run it through the PS2 emu on the PC or get the Wii version and have it run even better on Dolphin on the PC. My old PC is now my emulator PC, got a USB wii bar as well so I can play every Wii game I have in actual 1080p on the TV with AA and AF as well, which I suspect will be a massive improvement over this "HD" version.
    My gaming systems -
    Consoles - Wii, Xbox 360 Elite, Xbox 360 Jtag Jasper 2TB 3.5" HDD, PS3 60GB UK launch version, PS3 hacked with 500GB 3.5" HDD (2TB wouldn't work ).

    PC - i7 3930K @4.6GHZ, Asus Rampage IV Extreme, 2xRadeon 7970, 32GB DDR3, 4TB Raid HDD (4X Samsung Spinpoint F3, SSD boot drive OCZ Vertex 3 120GB )

These are gaming systems I am biased towards (may as well throw in everything from last gen and before as if the PC can emulate it I am likley to have it)

Big thumbs up to that one, I run a Wii emulator on my PC and it is astonishing how well the emulator handles high res. Games look fantastic to the point of looking like they where made for HD.

I will probably end up doing something similar to what you have soon. (going to re purpose this PC soon.) My media PC that is currently hooked up in my living room is just shy of being able to emulate the Wii properly.

Aye it's surprising how low the specs are for running Dolphin decently, especially for GC games. My old 5 year old ASUS G2S laptop with it's 2.4GHZ Core Duo and 256MB Geforce 8600m GT runs all the GC stuff perfect, tho does need to run the Wii stuff at native res.

I had a mission a couple of weeks ago, to build an emulation station, got every console and computer emulator I could think of, and thanks to the TOSEC collections, a hell of a lot more I had never heard of (ah the good old late 70 and 80's when every company and their dog had a computer for sale) and stuck them all on there with a few TB drives in Icy Box external/bay cases to store the ROMs and give it a bit of a nostalgic feel of inserting the cartridge to play the games. Throw in a bluetooth adapter for the Wii controller and a USB sensor bar to go with the 360 wireless pad adapter and it good to go. I have kept it entirely separate from my media centre stuff tho, much to the annoyance of the missus, I just told her to look at it as a very big games console (It's in my old Cooler Master HAF 932 case, so a little on the big side, but it does have wheels and plenty of USB ports on the front for multiplayer games which is great for my old console controller adapters ).

I have spent more time playing games on that lately than I have on my gaming PC, as I always say to those who ask why play those old crappy looking games, I just say you have to look at them in context and more often than not they play every bit as good as they did back in the day. Got to slyly build up my my GOG collection for it next and hope the wench doesn't notice

Just hoping on an improved PS2 emulator so I can play games like Primal and an Xbox 1 emulator so I can retire both of the original consoles (I am surprised at the lack of an Xbox emulator, all I can find are old abandoned ones for Halo, I would have thought that would be the one console that would be easiest to emulate given it's just a PC with custom software more or less).
