Exclamation Amazon, GameStop and Target 'leak' Wii U Box Arts

    Ubisoft confirms they are real.

Wii U box art images have appeared on Amazon.ca, GameStop and Target. Ubisoft confirmed they are '100 percent authentic'.

Well, we now have the first look at the upcoming Wii U game Box Arts, courtesy of online retailers Amazon.ca, GameStop and Target.

And they are real, as Ubisoft’s Michael Beadle confirmed it: “Why yes, the Wii U box art you sent is legit; in fact, it’s too legit to quit.”

Seems that the games will be in a light blue case.

Take a look at them below:

So, what do you think? Do you like them or not?

thank goodness they didnt keep to the white boxes, i quite like those blue ones (unless they say vita on )

hopefully they made just enough changes to the branding that even the most stupid person wont confuse a wii u game to a wii game although of course we all know its going to happen.

UBI Soft.. They loved Nintendo long time, and earned alot more than 5$ for that. UBI released shitloads of games on Gamecube too, but also Wii.

There isnt many big companies left, but UBI is probably the best of them. Some people would probably say that EA is the best..
Why is so many people defending EA, when they are a shit company with yearly shovelware? They even won a prize for it twice.

I heard Billy loves EA and he thinks Origin is like the next best thing to sex! lol *tries to keep from laughing too hard*

At least I will say this about Ubisoft, they put out some real craptacular games but they also put out some real gems once in a while. I mean I loved Rayman Origins, some people didn't like it but I enjoyed it.

Another one I enjoyed the hell out of, Red Steel. Most people hated it and loved the sequel... I really don't like part 2 but part 1 was amazing to me.

EA hardly makes anything I am enthusiastic about these days. The sad thing is they own the rights to so many games I would kill for an update to. Damn it EA at least sell Road Rash to another company if your not going to do something with it.... lol

Edit: They should try to mix up a fighting game with Road Rash... get pulled over by a cop and you could fight your way out of it... sort of an updated version of Blades of Steel. Of course it would probably wind up being crap but at this rate I would take anything lol

Hehe.. I liked Red Steel myself, and bought it at Wii launch. I also bought Rayman Origins (PS3) as its a good must have platformer. UBI have some gems now and then. I also like the Raving Rabbids games. Splinter Cell Conviction is awesome on Xbox 360 btw. It was never released on PS3. I own Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on both PS3 and Xbox 360, but the games have totally different engines! Xbox 360 version is faster, better GFX, and more difficult. PS3 version runs at only 30 fps, with washed out GFX. PS3 version still had a charm thou even when inferior. 2 different UBI teams made these, and none is a port even with same title.

I liked Dante's Inferno from EA, especially on PS3 since its slicker than 360 version. (Usually its the other way).
I want Mirrors Edge 2, but i think its cancelled again.
Mirrors Edge was a gem i think.

EA seem to own the rights to Wing Commander, Privateer, Maxis games, Bullfrog games etc.
They released a Syndicate remake thou, but the rest from Bullfrog is forgotten. Games like Powermonger, Populous, Dungeon Keeper, Magic Carpet +++

EA just dont care about sequels of old top games. Many sequels from old games would be much better than new NFS, FIFA, Madden etc..

you do know that you arent supposed to scare us old folks, its not good for our hearts (but there again i doubt my lifestyle is very good for my heart either as a smoker, driver, lover of bacon and rollercoaster fan away from the pc)

i have rainbow six vegas and rainbow six vegas ce and enjoyed them both, loved sc conviction (i have the very rare 3 disc CE) and in fact i think i have all the current gen / last gen sc games on xbox or wii / 360 (although only pandora tomorrow (xbox) and double agent (360) collectors editions).

i must say i loved dante's inferno too (as you may have guessed its the blood edition ) although i only BOUGHT it on the 360 as that was the version i played, as to all the ea games you list that you'd like to see a follow up to, its not very likely as none of them are online shooters or could be easily adapted to sell a shitload of dlc for which seems to be the only thing ea looks for.

yes, thats something i thought about too, this could be the first time since the snes superseded the nes that Nintendo didn't change the name but with that said the names for the previous units was changed prior to the launch announcement, its just been such a long time since they changed from project café to wii u i think many expected it to be changed again, preferably to something that wasnt wii anything, although i guess that super wii might have worked, after the wii name i'm just glad they didn't call it the perfect nes (or pnes for short).

as for sony, yes, such hate, i don't need to cover the many many reasons as you know what they are already, and no, i still didn't buy a vita and still don't intend to, there is more chance of me buying a 3dsxl and thats not happening, that said i must admit if it didn't come from sony i think i'd grab one of those super cheap (£129.99?) 16gb super slims, the design kind of grew on me, if it had full bc i honestly think i'd crack because the appeal of a single system that could do most of what my launch 60gb could do but with the addition of being able to play (preowned) ps3 games would be more than i could resist, although of course i'd hate myself for buying it, maybe buying preowned would help ease my conscience on that.

in the meantime i have a whole bunch of older 360 and wii games to play as i had a bit of a brainfart last week and picked up a whole load of stuff i was after (+ a pre order for nsmb2), i think i bought 47 games in total, got some good buys too (and some not so good tbh but if you want something sometimes you have to pay) goldeneye limited edition (wii) (with controller) £12, dj hero 1 renegade edition (360) x2 £15 each, dj hero 2 (360) £2 (i already have the renegade edition + 2 for the wii), tony hawk ride + shred + board (360, again i already have on wii) £8.50, two worlds 1 & 2 collectors + royal editions (360) £7 and £20, enslaved 2 disc talent edition (360), xenoblade collectors edition (wii) £dont ask , Metroid prime trilogy collectors edition (wii) £ouch, u-draw tablet + all games (360) £20, lets tap + boxes (wii) £1.50, pgr3 + live arcade unplugged (360) £3 and more, there are some great bargains to be had right now because of the new release drought and the summer weather (just about).
