Plus: New render pics of the console!

XBMC and Ouya have teamed up for an integrated Android media center.
Plus, TuneIn's radio streaming is also on its way!

That's right, media player and entertainment hub XBMC, which was also announced for Android last month, will integrate to the much-anticipated Ouya games console.

“We are delighted to announce that XBMC will be working with Ouya to ensure that XBMC works well on the Ouya platform,” said the studio’s Nate Thomas. “Ouya’s Android underpinnings and XBMC’s work on Android (soon to be merged into master, pending final sign-offs!) will dramatically speed up that effort, as will early XBMC dev access to Ouya prototypes.”

Nearly one-third of Team XBMC’s staff are Ouya backers, according to Thomas, and “many” of Ouya’s team support XBMC. The ongoing conversation between the two is still “young,” however, things are moving along positively.
Additionally, Ouya announced support for TuneIn's radio streaming...

We’re boosting our radio reception around the world. We’ve partnered with TuneIn, a free service that lets people listen to the world's music, sports and news from wherever they are. With over 70,000 stations and two million on-demand programs, TuneIn offers unmatched variety for listeners across 230 countries and territories.
And finally, the company has posted new rendered images showing the scale of the console and its gamepad:

In less than one day, the OUYA console will be funded on Kickstarter and has managed to raise more than $7 million.

Are you excited about it?
