Namco to bring some of their franchises to the upcoming Android console.
Square Enix was the first 'big publisher' to bring support for the Ouya, and seems that Namco Bandai is the next.
Also, the console will officially support up to four controllers.
Here goes another Ouya update.
First, just after Square Enix, seems that Namco Bandai could be the next big publisher to sign up to distribute on Ouya...
Here's what Carlson Choi, Namco Bandai's VP of marketing, said:
Additionally -and in response to feedback from the community- the Ouya will officially support up to four controllers.Namco Bandai Games and Ouya are currently in active discussions to bring some of the world's biggest gaming properties to the exciting new open gaming platform. Namco Bandai brings with it a rich history of iconic gaming franchises, from classics like Pac-Man and Galaga, to seminal franchises like Tekken and Ridge Racer, and we're excited to explore how we can work with Ouya to bring some great titles to the forthcoming console.
And finally, along with the announced XBMC support, the Ouya will also support the alternate media player Plex.
The Ouya will launch in March 2013 and its Kickstarter project is already funded with more than $8 million USD collected!
