YouTube for iOS Updated With 'Send to TV' Functionality

Now you can browse videos on your iOS device and watch it on your big screen at ease

The iOS version of the YouTube App has been updated adding an interesting feature, "Send to Tv" that allows you to send the video you are browsing to your SmartTV, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 or compatible set-top-box and watch it on a big screen.

send to tv??? or the allshare feature with samsung tvs and mobiles.... wow not really exciting when others have done it first.

I don't get this. I installed youtube on my TV, ran it, paired it with my mini, and watched a video I ran from my mini.
Why would I do this when I can just play the video from the youtube app I just installed on my tv? What is the point?

because if you dont own a keyboard for your tv, its hell of a lot faster to search using your fone and send to your tv.

but personally i think youtube should fix their app to support hd/vivo channels before offering a mobile stream to tv to find the tv cant play the video.
