I am using dos flash beta 1.4 and when i connect the status keeps jumping back and forth between 0xD1 and 0x51. Any clue as to what I am doing wrong. I can't get dosflash to read the MTK vendor intro. HELP>>>>

I have been backing up my Wii games for quite a while with no issues. I am just getting into the x360 scene and have a few questions:

Is the 2007 tutorial in post 41 of this thread the latest tutorial? Does anyone have a 2008 tutorial? I only ask because I will be buying a brand new x360 off the shelf to mod later this week and there may be system chages over the past 4 months or so.

I rarely perform the system mod myself on any system. I just create the backups myself. If the x360 firmware flashing tutorial is too much for me to handle can anyone suggest a professional modder that works the x360? I used trustedmods to mod my Wii consoles with no issue. For some reason I can't seem to relocate their website.

Any help would be appreciated.

Flashing is easy unless you have a hitachi 79 drive. Just double read stuff, make sure you have the right equipment and take your time.

i cant find this on google, can you possibly link to it?
the tutorials need updating,
i hear ms28 is possible in windows with dosflash32 without turning off the xbox???

can anyone point to me the newest tutorials for best methods of flashing?
also, if you get banned from live...can i make my xbox RRoD and send it off, will the replacment xbox be banned?
