    Are you using a original Nintendo mem card, never tried running the image on a 251 card so can't really offer any advise on why your having so much trouble getting the card to boot.

    Is your Action replay PAL or NTSC,?

    ok i managed to get GCOS_GCI on the card and boot it up.. when it goes into the menu i see ipl.dol and GCOS_PSO.dol when i pic GCOS_PSO.dol the screen flashes
    Card Read
    DOL Relocatte

    and it just does that.


    i did try it with the anaconda file but that just gets to the DOL Relocate part and just stays there.....

    Bloody hell, you are having a hard time of it arn't you mate. I'll say it again are you using a Nintendo mem card because if not this is the only possible cause of the problems you are having.

    yes i am using an official Nintendo 251 block memory card. My AR is v 1.06 and it is NTSC.

    How do you find out which drive you have w/o viper?

    I cannot believe this. I just tested out skunk's image and my DREs are gone. I used the same RE4 disk I've been testing with and it's running fine now. Tested my other backups which were giving me the DREs and they are actually working.

    Sheesh, i knew my burner/media was good! Thanks!

    ps I probably had a drive 8....[edit] I should looke before posting. I do have a drive 8 as reported by GCOS. My DRE problem all along.
