I'm looking for fellow Canadians who've sent their modded 360 in for repair and got it fixed, even without the "warranty" sticker. Mine is all boxed up and ready to go, but every time I get a day off work to send it in, I get called in to work, so it's been boxed for a month. Would like to hear some feedback before I send it in. Thanks.

Im in the same boat. I removed my sticker all together instead of having one with spots on it... I figured I could say mine never had a sticker on it to begin with. We'll see, if it doesn't work, I'll X-Clamp it

Same here. I couldn't get the sticker off the wax paper without it getting f*cked up, so I just left it off. Been doing a lot of reading on X-Clamping, so, if I get it back unrepaired, that's what I'll be doing. Buying a new one anyway as I don't want to wait for this one to come back.

I'll be sending in my RROD 360 in sometime this week. I bought a warranty sticker off of eBay. I figured it isn't worth it to send it in without one. If you do and they deny fixing it, what are you left with? You either have to pay money to get it fixed or try sending it in again, which I would imagine they would make a note that your console has been tampered. The stickers go for around $10

I was thinking of doing that.......but I think i'm going to try convincing my friend to let me have his. And if he says no then....what the hell? it doesn't really matter to me.

EDIT: Don't know if this is true or not, but the UPS guy said they ship 20 of these out a WEEK.

when you get the box repaired you get a new type of sticker.
at least i got a new one.
normally it's the silver sticker. now it a paper based sticker like the license stickers on pc cases for windows. sticker almost impossible to remove without damaging it.

mines rrod today. Just spoke to ms and they will pick it up and fix it. Anyone know how long it usually takes, took a week last time, but not sure if they are slower these days.

Warranty sticker missing, but i still have my old one to put back on first.

    No Luck

Called M$ to see if I could get my box fixed... 3RROD... No luck they said because I was banned from LIVE that they would not fix it... I am not really mad cause I knew the risk when I modded it... The games are great on the 360... but the system is a piece of crap...... 33% failure rate.......What a joke... Now I saw today that a 360 caused a house fire and did $100,000 damage.. What is it gonna take for someone to file a lawsuit against M$... I would think you could subpeona their repair records and that would say it all..... Maybe some day Sony will get it together and start putting out some decent games... one can only hope!

Well after a week of waiting for my sticker with it still not being here, I decided to send my xbox out without one. I called MSFT and talked to them and told them the first time I noticed there was a sticker on the front under the faceplate but that this time there was not. The guy said that it would not be a big deal, and I asked if he could make a note of this to ensure no hangups when they receive it. So I ended up sending it without the sticker. I'll update when I have more info with the progress!

Anyone ever try giving them a serial on the phone and sending in a box with a different serial? Perhaps this could be a way to bypass banned serials.
