List of Compatible Donor Cards (Add if you want)

Okay, someone posted a mesage that you could use any regular game cart for a donor cart. This includes games with or without saves. But after several visits to the store, I found this is not the case.
Carts/Carts that cannot be used that I tested:
Atari 10 in one
Dig Dug
Spiderman
Whack a Mole

Cart that does work for me:
New Super Mario Bros (Ironic for me, cause thats the game I needed a donor cart for. But it also works as a great donor cart for other games. I got it for $30 used from ebgames.

I have found that super monkey ball touch and roll works as a donor card for new super mario and big brain academy. allowing full saves. In facet it works for others too but they are the main ones

I think that people are going to wonder if it takes over & erases the save on the donor card or not?

Ah, I see from another post that it does, but if there are three save banks & you save on bank one, you can use MMD with the other two & keep your slot.

mario cart worked for me. But I learned the hard way that I lost my gamesaves.

I use the metroid prime demo. It has quite a few saves on it and it hasnt been affected. but it dont help much with compatabbility.

One that seemed to work for all of my roms was Kirby's Canvas Curse..

also Super Mario DS worked quite well too..

how many saves can you do in one donor card?

Prime, based on what I've read, the number of saves is based on the game that you're using for the donor card. If the game has 3 game slots. You can save up to 3 different games. It also sounds like you have to remember what save slot you used for what game or you'll end up over-writing them.

Might be a bit off topic but theres an app called reinmoon that allows the saves from DS Cards to be saved to the MMD and put back onto the card.

This way you only need one donor card.
I've tried it and it seems to work OK, but there is a warning in it that it can destory the card

A donor card is an actual DS game. You sacrifice the savegames on it to save data for the patched Max Overload ROMs.
