I have 1 question:
What is the difference between original rom and bootleg?

I know some games they added some mods and put "plus" on the title, thus the bootleg label.

But games like say Samurai Showdown: samsho5 (original dump) & samsho5b (bootleg), what is the difference?

Which MAME emu runs on M33 3.52-4, the latest i found: PSP mame4all v4.7r2 Hires by TTYman - 08092007, crashes my psp. Tried in GAME and GAME150 with 3.52 kernel and 1.50 kernel but no luck

Don't get me wrong - this is an awesome list, and much kudos for it, but before I go mucking with the 1.50 kernel compatibility mode, I think a list of 3.71 compatible emulators might be useful. Just a thought.

i'm thinking of making a quite big update to the guide upon the release of Daedalus R13, if everything went fine and i had the time for the updating, Slim(3.xx kernel emus) info will be included

speaking of which...what's the situation regarding 3.xx kernel compatibility of the emulators? do they run just as well on slims or fat psp's with 3.71 kernel enabled?

I'm having trouble getting the N64 emulator to work. It seems to either crash or on Goldeneye it just runs really really slow! Am I doing something wrong?

My PSP is fat, Curr. Firm 3.71 m33 (which i switched to 1.50)

Hey I've followed all your instructions on v1.50 i got the BIOS and gpSP all that i've fiddled around with it a fair bit But i've repedetaly got " the game could not be started [80020148]" like i have both the raw .gba files and .zip [via winrar] i have made 2 sperate files both containing the same information with the names GAME and GAME150 both inside the PSP folder and they both show under the game thing in the memory thing. i dont have a magic memory stick or battery my firmware is currently 3.71 m33 But I'm using the v1.50 kernal i have tried messing with reset flash 1 and toggled flash0 (what ever the hell that does) My XMB is currently set at defualt; purely because the god damn thing wont change. constantly giving me more "cannot..."bullpoop grey screen rubbish and anoying 'pong' trauma yet i digress.

I have tried installing all of your provided emulators and like the same generic message " the game could not be started [80020148]" keeps coming back and biting me in my ..'tooshie' They all show up fine just wont load.

i'm stumped..

hi, hope you could help me fix my problem. i can play single player mode on all the games but when i am trying to play multiplayer, i cant complete the connection.

i followed the every single step you said on the guide but after completing the connection... both my psp are suddenly turn black.... then the 2nd player psp will shut off after 15-20 secs. then the 1st player psp will continue to blink the memory stick light but will not show any picture but black screen.

hope you could give advice... i really like to play Battle City with my wife... hehe!!!! i am using Nester J Emulator 1.20 beta2, cfw m33-3 (with 1.5 addon), PSP FAT.

HI, I have just tried installing mvspsp2.3.1 for my PSP-slim, i followed every steps stated in the thread, my emulator shows the game rom I copied inside, so I press O and it loads, but halfway, it says srom files not found. Message shows cache/srom not found, press any key to continue.

Then when I explore my cache folder, an srom file is there.

Any idea how to solve this?
