    please anyone who expert on changing custumized XMB, help me...
    any suggestion would be very please.... this is my 1st time changing XMB icon on PSP

    I'm already on 3.03 OE_C... i want to install black aruziah XMB...

    is this the correct thing I should do?
    - Turn on PSP and hold the R button to go recovery mode...
    - Attach USB cable...
    - Attach AC Adapter

    -go to advance
    -press x on flash0
    -go to vsh and then to resource
    -copy all for back up...

    and then just copy paste costumized XMB on vsh right...?
    Icons = topmenu_plugin.rco (black aruziah)
    game loading icon = game_plugin.rco (fix files to play PSX game even you costumized your XMB)
    Opening sounds = Opening_plugin.rco (fix files to play PSX game even you costumized your XMB)
    and then back flash0:/font/ to copy paste Font = ltn0.pgf


    and then exit and turn off the PSP is that right? and when I turn on my PSP everything will alright right?

    originaly 2.70 IC1003 downgrade to 1.50 , then for 3 month using 3.02 OE-A (thanks to evolve) and then upgrade to 3.03 OE_C and then now currenly at 3.52 M33-4

    assuming i brick my psp, what can i do?

    i'm at 3.03C, and from what i understand i need 3.30. should i go to 3.30 or straight to 3.40?

    Screw all that i dont understand jack.
    How do i decrypt the rco/resources?
    All i want is for my cold boot to say
    INTERNODE 168.192.0.2
    In the font that is used for the PSP on the front of the psp.

    Well even though it is easy to brick your psp its even easier to unbrick with custom firmware! just stick the DAXR file in the recovery folder.

    That theme you want is fine to use on 3.03 OE-C, I have used many 3.30 & 3.40 OE-A themes and nothing bricks my psp, all that is bad about using 3.30 & 3.40 themes is that the icons don't glow! (who cares)

    we often do this action into recovery mode and do the following:
    - Connect USB
    - Go into Advanced Options
    - Select Toggles Flash0 to USB
    Go into X:\vsh\resource\
    and then copy paste our desire opening_menu.rco, topmenu_plugin.rco into their and over-write the exisitng one...
    we got those files from around the world via internet,website...
    what I want to ask is... how about if the PSP system flash0 got virus computer.
    Can we get rid the virus without harm our PSP system?
    Can we use Norton, McAffe program to get rid the virus that alread infected our PSP system?

    I downloaded a custom XMB, ant its working fine. Theres just one flaw; when theres no picture in the PHOTO folder it doesn't say "there are no images"..

    The message is still there for music and video. I figured it had to be the photo_plugin.rco, so I went ahead and took a look at it with my hex editor. Didn't know what to look for though....the only thing I thought would make sense is look for "there are no images", and if its somewhere in there. And yes, it is. But I guess theres another entry missing or wrong...don't know.

    Any ideas..? I'll try to extract the corrupt and loading icons from that rco now, and add it to my very own encrypted file. Hope that'll do it.

    I'm sorry if i'm make annoncement here... but this thread is sticky and it's mean always up so people will read this...:

    people here please when you post the custom icon for your new XMB, please don't forget to tell us which firmware you're on.... so we did'nt mistaken download and install it on the wrong firmware...
