    Iceman,

Can you explain what you actually need to do to customize XMB waves? I just posted a thread asking for help on the subject, but should have asked here first!

Well, thats not really my specialty, but I know a little about it.

    you'll need:

    Adobe Photoshop CS3

    or

    PaintPro 11

Heres a video that I found that explains the basics of making them.

what exactly do you mean by "base firmware programs?"

    like my "150.pbp" and "340.pbp?"

lol, yes it's ok to have 3.40 OE-A, its one of the most popular firmwares out because of its ability to be very customizable

not sure if this is relevant........i've been thinking about flashing a theme. i heard flash agent does the job so i loaded it up and it told me that i have VERY LITTLE flash space left. i heard something on these forums regarding relinking dummy files to save room. it seems to have worked, but should i have backed anything up before doing that?

It would have been bright to copy the whole Flash0 folder, in case you bricked.

A way to get the original Flash0 back, you just refresh the version you are using. (*re-update to the same firmware*)

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but this is my first time doing this. Whenever I turn off my PSP, and I (hard)boot it holding R, no recovery mode thing pops up. I'm pretty sure I know what themes to install and how to but I can't get recovery mode to activate. Is there a message informing you about recovery mode? Or am I doing something wrong here? Pls reply. Thx.
