just got banned, and have a theory, and i know serves me right.i think the reason is that i put on blacksite without taking of the hard drive to check if backup worked and it did.went on to xbl 2day and was banned.reason i think i got banned was playing blacksite 2weeks b4 uk realease.
but only wenty back online 2day.any 1 think this is the reason i got banned.all backups were properly patched, stealthed and checked with various progs.plus m8's r all ok and they did not have blacksite.any 1 agree?
ye its obviously because of blacksite, you shouldnt have played it 2 weeks b4 release here in uk, u were just asking to get banned
was just wondering if i bought a new console and played blacksite after uk release would ms ban me again or would i be ok?
Sooo can you play originals on the mooded firmwares online as many have asked but not been answered i need to know ASAP thanks for anyone who helps
Im a noob so dont flame pl0x.
I might mod my xbox 360, and play online. But how big is the risk that you will get caught.
And if you get banned, how you get banned; IP, Xbox, only the specific game.
bump![]()
1. You might get banned or you might not get banned. Right now it seems to be 'safe' with the latest firmware and if you check all you backups for stealth. But who knows what might happen in the future. If MS decides to implement a new detection method for backups, we might all get banned.
In other words, there is ALWAYS a chance that you will get banned. If you really don't want to get banned, don't mod your 360.
2. Your 360 gets banned.

Anyone have experience with xbox live arcade bans? I want to buy rez, I never take my console online because it is modded, but Im wondering if I can with no disc in the drive to buy/DL rez. it has OLD firmware....
Playing a game 2 weeks before release, and that being the reason for being banned is utter nonsense, it has to be.
I have a friend who works in Game, and he frequently takes home and plays games way before the release date, furthermore, some stores accidently sale games before their street date, microsoft couldn't ban these people, since it was the store at fault, not the consumer.
just wanted to let you know that I signed up for live, and went on, did the most recent update, bought points, bought rez, and no problem (yet) - course i didnt have a disc in the drive and unplugged the ethernet right afterwards so who knows. Who knows.Anyone have experience with xbox live arcade bans? i'm just wondering, if my x360 is banned, can i still update my dashboard to the latest version from online ?
does the "banned" also banned updates ? or is it just banned us from playing online ?
