You already have the files, you only need to run MSINST to make your Stick do magic stuff

So what is it? Will the IPL get destroyed if I format my memory stick through my PSP, or not? I'm selling my fat PSP soon so I might not be able to fix my Magic Memory Stick if I screw it up.

IPL stays, I've only written mine once and formatted a dozen times, still it works when I put a Pandora in.

Just confirming because i thought cory said that the IPL will be destroyed. At least now I don't need to make the folders manually.

    Hi everyone.
I am wondering is there anyway to install this firmware without a PSP 'fat' and extra battery?

Im not a PSP owner yet. I plan on buying just a PSP slim
is there another method of installation without the extra psp?

I am waiting for the pics of the house and the pics of the guy's face. Maybe i will travel some day to USA and i will stop over there, and the pics would guide me better to the target.

So... I run the exe and some stuff comes up on the screen. I wasn't asked to confirm anything. There's no change made to the file. I'm doing something wrong?

    Load IPL Code msipl.bin
    xxxxx bytes(59 block) readed
    TARGET DRIVE IS 3
*****some other things I removed to save a finger sprain*****
    signature AA55
Check free reserved sector:to small reserved sectors

This is what I am supposed to see, right? However, there's nothing happening on my memory stick...

Scratch that... I figured it out. I had to use the included format tool in Pandora because it wouldn't work otherwise. not sure why... Maybe it had something to do with the fact I was using this card in my PS3...

I don't have a friend who has a phat PSP. Will someone make a new way to install custom firmware without a phat psp?
