the Xport 360 Software is not reading the 120's partitions properly so it wont work with it.. only works with 20 gig hds until there is a patch or something
I got the same "cannot find a FATX drive to open!" message.
MY FIX: Boot into safe mode and it works fine for me. If i am not in safe mode i get the error every time. Hope this helps. to get into safe mode, rebote and hit the "F8" key while it is booting up!
can anyone help i have injected teh profile onto my hd but wen i turn the 360 on it doesnt show the new profile only the 2 originals i have on my hd

I got it to work, I have a 120 GB HDD and I didn't have the Xport update.
I heard that Microsoft stopped game saves though?
Or they ban you or something for glitching for points...
Is this true, am I at risk of being banned from XBL if I achievement boost with saves?

What do you recommend to transfer the data?
Is XSATA or Xport any better than one of the other?
Is there a certain one that won't work with older, or newer HD's, or has known issues?
I plan on using it for a simple old memory card to avoid wrecking my HDD, so I just wanna know what my best option is, and I noticed they're both $50

xport at curcuit city is 40 bucks, tht wat i have, i mean the chioce is up to u, xsata connects to both ur xbox and comp so u dont needa move HDD'd, the xport only connects to ur computer, id recoomend xport if ur comp was in a different location but your choice.
No place in my area sells that stuff, so I bought it from codejunkies for $57 shipped.

My console was just purchased this month, do you think it'll still work? I read around in this forum that they dont work on elites or something, and newer consoles...
If that's the case, would a future patch/driver fix this? Or would I have to buy a new device?
