The big Switch Talk at 34c3 is now over, see below for the complete 1 hour video that amazing to watch!

Previous years in Germany, we have seen amazing hacker developer talks from Team Fail0verflow on advanced subjects like PlayStation 3 and Wii and Wii U hacking, and last year alot of good things appeared soon afterwards for the Nintendo 3DS handheld like SoundHax, and this year the 34c3 conference had an super-duper one hour talk hosted by @Plutoo, @Derrek and @Naehwert, which got into how they cracked the Switch wide-open using the Tetris game as the credits launch a 'web browser' and homebrew is now possible!
So there you go, grab a Switch on v3.0.0 or lower, grab a copy of Tetris and get ready for the whole of 'homebrew' on your new Nintendo, already RetroArch has tweeted that 'Switch Core' is work-in-progress and will be arriving soon for all to enjoy! :)

And this is just the start, the coming weeks/months we will see alot of amazing Nintendo Switch Scene news, so stay tuned! :)

It will be interesting to see what they come up with.....and to decide whether to upgrade or not to 3.0.1+.

That Tetris game was only used because 1.0.0 didn't have a web browser (it had a kind of bare bones browser, which wasn't available except to certain apps). During the Q&A section of the video, Plutoo says 2.0.0 (and newer) comes with a web browser, so you don't need that game.

Telling someone to buy that game might make them update their console (so they can access the eShop and buy it) and lose out on the upcoming good stuff, possibly for a long time, until a new exploit is found. Might be a couple of years, or more.

@DSpider - Best to buy the Pokemon Tournament DX it has 3.0.0 on the cartridge itself.

There is new exploit but it was sold out to big 'N' via the bug bounty program, reason 4.0.1 was released last week, just before the 34c3, infact rumor is one of 3 at the talk today is the bug bounty submitter, sad really, but everyone has bills to pay.

But don't worry stay tuned for something cool for the Switch.... :)

Be careful as Nintendo have apparently been updating carts to include newer firmware:

Haven't heard anything about Pokemon, but the possibility exists.

There is rumors an 'EmuNAND' function will be released, might be a bit of both, remember the 32gb nand is removal module in the switch, and its also possible to expand it to 64gb like the devkit models.

But sadly, its been rumored this will need a launch v1.0.0 system for it to work, so not even 3.0

But I still working on gathering up more info from private elite circles, hopefully will be able to report on something soon.
