Judge’s Decision Follows Nintendo’s Successful Appeal
On Sunday, April 24, 2016, federal Judge Jed Rakoff in New York ruled that the Nintendo 3DS does not infringe a patent on 3D display technology originally asserted against Nintendo by plaintiffs.
For almost half a decade, big 'N' has been fighting a company called 'Tomita Technologies' in regard to multiple 3D technology patents that could have been used in Nintendo's 3DS handheld, but after many appeals, big 'N' has finally had the hammer smash'ed down in their favor, giving them free rein to keep producing more N3DS's without giving Tomita any money for maybe using their 3D tech.
Mario always wins, and gets the Princess Peach, and its the same in real life, Nintendo keeps fighting until the Bowser Patent Troll is dead in its tracks, or has ran out money for its high-priced suits. -- Thankfully for big 'N' Mario is always busy collecting 'Gold Coins' so there is no limit to the amount Nintendo can spend for their high-priced suits, to fight their patent cases, even if they are not 100% legit in what they doing, time and money and multiple appeals always wins over the little man trying to secure his tiny useless inventions!
