An 86 year old resident of a nursing home can now add being a Wii bowling legend to his list of achievements. The respective resident has managed to achieve 40 perfect games of Wii bowling from his 4,300 hours of gameplay.

<blockquote>Jack Davis, 86-year-old resident of the Hearth & Home assisted living community in Vandalia, Ohio, can beat you at video games. Specifically, Davis can be considered a legend at Wii Sports Bowling, a game he boasts 40 perfect games in.

As any gamer knows, enough practice and technique at Wii Sports can result in a perfect game or two. Davis bowling a 300 on 40 separate occasions is a whole other story.

"What I like about it (Wii bowling) is, if you find a spot you can stay on all the time, you can get a pretty good score," Davis said. "And, you get 300 once and a while."</blockquote>

I'm pretty sure if Nintendo ever bothered with leaderboards for the game, we would see lots of people with scores like this all the time.

And damn "4,300 hours of gameplay" is crazy. That's over 179 days.

      I think is a fake.

I dont' think a person sign all hours he playing.

If he really like bowling, I think he play in the reality, not on videogames.

In Italy many old man's playing bowling.

I don't know if they'll let an 86 old man near a bowling ball. 70's might be different, but 80's? let 'em stick to bowling on the wii.

4300+ game play is just more MC bullshit. The original article makes no such claims

Davis has played 4300 games since he moved to Hearth & Home of Vandalia in August 2007. That means .93 of the games he's played are perfect games.

TcNewsnet reports that the assisted living community acquired the Nintendo Wii shortly after Davis arrived in August 2007. Through the end of 2009 then, Davis has averaged about 153.6 games per month, or 4-5 games per day.
