But what about companies who make PS3 exclusives, it'll hurt them for some time to come.

I still have my PS3, and last week I bought an Xbox, but I know a lot of people who are thinking of swapping over and getting rid of the PS3 once and for all.

The snowball is rolling, how long before it turns into an avalanche?

The CFO from EA and CEO at THQ had to say that... their shareholders aint gonna be happy to hear the company wasting time developing for the PS3 when consumers no longer trust the Sony products...

Hope this hits Sony and anyone that supports them loosing Personal Data really hard...

btw: my PS3 will be relegated to just playing Movies, DVD's, and Games offline... already have a 360 and thats brilliant, people really shouldnt knock the 360 with some of its problems... its actually very good at gaming, everything on it appears to be geared towards gaming...

Yeah it is a minor problem for them. I had no intention of buying a Playstation 3 game from EA or THQ this year anyway.

If I were either of those companies I would be more worried about the fact they've locked in gamers with GamerPass and have charged second hand buyers for access to multiplayer, yet were unable to continue offering service while the playstation network was down.

Lets be honest THQ never stood a chance for this year anyway, the majority of their output is garbage and they're better at advertising their games than they are making them.

Sony is lucky, because service server is for free. If the same thing had happened to Microsoft, it would be a mess.

      EA isn't relevant anymore.

They just keep pumping out the same garbage year after year, and the quality is horrible. They are only riding on the name they built in the 90s.

      Screw EA.

Well it's not like it's ~their~ Network, and they already have the Cash in Hand, of course, they are like it's "Sounds, like your problem *****!".

It's not like PSN had been down and out for many Months now, but I gather S0NYs' working on it. So when ~is~ PSN supposed to come back on-line again? I thought S0NY said they'd that they'd be turning it back on again this Week.

The real damage out of all this is Sony's stock price and faith in the company as a whole.
