The thing about computer hacking is that it’s such a general, far-reaching term that it’s almost impossible to explain to someone who isn’t already familiar with it.

So, news networks who need b-roll footage to show while they’re talking about hacking usually just show keyboards or random strings of letters and numbers, while the audience stares blindly at the screen, assuming that whatever they’re looking at is somehow related to the topic.

So if you are running the Clinton News Network, and want to inform readers more about the crazy idea that the Russians hacked your American Election 2016 to get Trump to win, they you quickly grab some 'hacking-looking footage' from popular video game, in this case Fallout 4 and use it as background footage during your 'weird discussion/debate' about this widely fought viral news topic going around.

Its not the first time CNN has screwed up like this or used 'video game footage', they been caught using 'war footage' from popular games like Battlefield, and Just Cause in the past instead of finding actual 'battle scenes' for the topic they are trying to discuss on air.

lol no surprises there. Russian hack or not, seems they are more pissed that the hack showed that they are not doing their job and are just propaganda mouth pieces for their owners chosen candidates and financial interests, they should have been the ones exposing the corruption if they were doing their jobs in a truly unbiased way. You can see how the likes of CNN, MSNBC and the like could spot fake news though, they have been spouting it for years so they know full well what it looks like and what to look for :p
