Attempts chart supremacy before freeze for second year
EA knows alot of people are going to be getting iOS devices this holiday season, so browsing apps you will find all their great mobile games from their studios for only 99 cents each this holiday week
Now, it may seem silly to average joe to charge only 99 cents for their high-end games like Dead Sapce, and Fifa '12.
But it really is clever business move, and it worked last year because Apple 'freezes' the 'top 25' charts right after the holidays.
So with tons of people grabbing the basically $1 deals just over the holidays, it will make EA hold most of the top positions on the charts, last year they had 14 out of 25, so once the price goes back to normal and people are browsing they think to themselves, if it in 'TOP' list it must mean it is 'great', even if the game is a total bomb and horrible when it comes to playing it, but too late you just got sucker into paying 'FULL PRICE' for it!
Yet Another One of EA Strong-Arm Business Moves, it also helps to push out the smaller 'indie' developers from the TOP list!
