According to The Verge, Microsoft is preparing a 'Xbox TV' device to be revealed pre-holiday 2013, and with 'casual gaming and streaming'.

Just a few weeks after the rumor about an incoming 'XBOX Surface Tablet', here goes another one from The Verge, this time about a set-top box to be called 'XBOX TV'.

According to sources 'close to the matter', the “always on” device will run on core Windows 8 components and will support "casual gaming" titles rather than 'full Xbox games typically found on a dedicated console'.

It will be unveiled in 2013 with a release date ahead of the holiday shopping season, and aims to compete with Apple TV and other similar devices.

    Here are the full details:

There you have it. So, what do you think? Would you be OK with two or three new XBOX SKU's for next year?
