The first stable version of ResidualVM has been releasing, supporting for now Grim Fandango, allowing you to try it on Windows, Linux or OS X.

The first stable version of ResidualVM has been released. This one is a "cross-platform 3D game interpreter" specifically designed for games built with the Lua scripting language.

For now, Grim Fandango is supported (no Escape from Monkey Island yet), so you will be able to enjoy it on Windows, Linux or Mac OS X. Here's the official info for v0.1.0:

The official download page is located HERE.

Additionally, there's an unofficial Android version available, but is still a WIP, and it looks like is not based on the latest version. But, if you want to try it, scroll down a bit on this thread for a DL link.

Thanks for the news! Just loaded the android port up on my tablet and works great! Amazing game I urge anyone who hasn't played this classic title to give it a whirl.
