While Sony is attempting to pawn this off as unconnected to their main network and claims that this is a third party host, the third party host is actually sonybmg.iphost.gr for the Greek site while the eshop ip links to DNSASSURANCESOLUTIONS.COM as domain manager and Sony Ericsson as the administrative contact... GO FIGURE!

As for the BMG Japan story, it would be nice if the data were still on pastebin so it could be verified.

I doubt that Sony will learn from this hacking, because sony have been the same **** company since PS1 was released. Sony will always do things their own way, and never learn from their mistakes.

Sony sites in Thailand and Indonesia were also compromised, bringing the total of major breaches to 10 or possibly 11, based on our accounting. It appears that all of these sites were infiltrated using the same SQL injection attack route (affectionately nicknamed a "Little Bobby Tables" attack), which took down the Sony BMG Greece and Japan sites earlier this week. Sony appears to have done nothing effective to prevent its other sites, even after the earlier compromises.

yeah I know... but I dont like to doctor news too much to give a false impression... I did think about adding that the Sony BMG was already reported a few days ago... ;)

Sony dont consider their group of companies to be connected... remember when they got caught using non legit software on their computers... nowt to do with Sony that was Sony BMG france... :D

quote of the day re Sony being hacked...

Seems like the hackers are not going all out but just hacking a site at a time to keep sony on their toes.

I would like to hope sony has learned it's lesson, don't leave your nuts exposed when challenging someone to a fight.

I have no sympathy for sonys plight but I do pity them.

It was more a comment for those that may think it was a new attack. Can't really doctor this since it's still true no matter how you put it.. although mentions of monkeys powering the heart of Sony are now mandatory.

We cannot deny that tactic works on the BBC, they've posted from the statement and have not examined the claim.

no, its ok guys, because as reported here,

Speaking in reference to EA's improving financial situation, the CEO of the publisher claimed that EA has learnt particularly well from its failures. The senior figure quipped - "If you want to succeed in any way that really matters, you have to fail."

so your still f**ked ,with all your details all over the web but SONY will make more money and be a better company ! lol

bet he did not have a psn account !!
