Pioneer of today's technology and Apple dies on Oct. 5th, 2011

Very sad, less then 24 hours after Apple's big 'Let's Talk iPhone' event, the founder of Apple (Steve Jobs) passes away!

Mr. Steve Jobs. (1955-2011) -- A name that will forever be printed in the history books.

I remember going to high school and hearing and seeing the Apple II, it all started in 1976 with Apple Computer Company between Steve Jobs and Mr. Wozniak.

The world we know today with our current usage of technology would I am sure not be like it at all if it was not for the non-stop flood of pioneer and ground-breaking over the top never down before ideas from Mr. Steve Jobs, dropping out of college in '72, and grabbing a job for 2 years for Atari in '74, he changed the world on how we think and use computers in '76, he had many up and downs over the decades since then, even being kicked from his own company, but by '97 he purchased his way back into his own company and by 2000 had it on a new track of greatness, and now just over ten years later, almost every household one way or the other has an Apple device or at least knows about Apple.

He leaves behind sadly his loving wife, "Laurene Powell", and his 4 kids, his first being Lisa (whom he also named a short-lived computer after).

There will I think never be another forward thinker and pioneer like himself again, at least not in today's age of only USERS and BUYERS, the days of inventors playing in their basement or extra room trying out new things that no one has ever thought of before is long gone, we are in the age of give me, give me, everything already done for you ready to buy from a silver patter.

We take off our hats and bend our heads and say some words, and remember tonight Mr. Steve Jobs. (Pioneer and Forward Thinker)

spare a thought too for someone who was REALLY important in this industry, Dennis Ritchie died on thursday after a long illness aged 70, unlike mr jobs this guy wasnt a huge showman preferring instead to let his work after developing the c programming language he went on to jointly develop the unix operating system without which we may never have had windows, osx or linux.

ne of his quotes..... "I am not now, nor have I ever been, a member of the demigodic party."
