The Nintendo Switch is a versatile gadget, which is part of its appeal, but you can always rely on fans to find fun ways to take it back to the 'good old days'.

That's neat and all, but you could just as easily do this with any other tablet and play far more games on it such as different console games, and also play many actual arcade games with MAME. Arguably though, the best option would be to build an arcade cabinet with a desktop PC like how MetalJesusRocks did. In an older video he used an old pc and a frontend called hyperspin, but in a fairly recent video, he upgraded the pc to a more powerful one and used a different frontend called Launchbox. Using either one will get you a neat UI you can use to cycle through your games and systems and both are customize-able. Do note though that launchbox is free, however the Big Box mode shown in his video is a part of the premium version, the cost isn't too expensive, but if that is a problem for you then I would recommend hyperspin or another frontend. .
