The studio is now known as 'Rockstar - San Diego' but they worked on a number of projects in the past with 'Miyamoto'

Before the famous 'Red Dead Redemption', Rockstar San Diego was an independant developement team called 'Angel Studios' and it seems they worked closely with Nintendo's Miyamoto for number of years!

During their independent years they released 'Major League Baseball' game featuring 'Ken Griffey Jr.' for the now classic Nintendo 64 platform, and then started handled the 'Resident Evil 2' port for N64, after that they worked directly with Miyamoto from '96 to '00 but it seems a number of slated projects never got released for various reasons like "Miyamoto didn't think the game was 'fun' enough".

Below is one video of 'Buggy Boogie' that features vehicles that would eat each other and adopt their enemy's skills, that SiliconEra recently dugged up from unreleased library archive, there also seems be 'fantasy golf game' that was similarly canned by Miyamoto.

Our thanks to 'Stevetry' for another news story!
