Final issues to go on sale next month.

Future Publishing UK is going to close the Xbox World and PSM3 magazines, as it continues its focus on digital growth.

That's right, more printed magazines will bite the dust this year.

Publisher Future has announced the closure of the Xbox World and PSM3 magazines in the UK, continuing its focus on digital content.

The final issues of these unofficial magazines will go on sale Wednesday, December 12, with an aim to redeploy affected staff across the business.

Xbox World was launched in 2003 by Computec Media, before being purchased by Future later the same year. PSM3 was launched by Future in 2000 as PSM2 and has published over 160 issues.

I guess its pretty sad to see these magazines go but more and more poeple are are on the internet, either pc,tv,phone,or tablet. Gone are the days where you had to wait a month for new info, now you can get it by the minute. Back when i was a young un going to the news agents every month for Crash or Computer & Video Games was something to look forward to, only to be disappointed when they didnt have it in yet haha.:D
