Friend I think you missed Already explained about spinning.
Good work, but risky for noobs.
I remember this old(2010) swap method(project)by Violent_Kain for 60gb consoles:
I have a two question please,
if your "switch" is compatible with my PS3 and my ODE
PS3 2504A Model (4.55 OFW)
Cobra ODE Version: (3.00 MCU 2.1)
after installing the switch onto ps3 and the 3.60 update.
for launching a game, "update game" is required or not ?
anyone know why some games get me error (FFFFFFFF) ?
is it swap disk problem ?
FFFFFFFF - Update failed (Game)
Update for the game ? how should i fix that ?
i don't know??? i want to know too! if after 3.60 update..."update the game" is required or not...
the game never asked for update so i updated it using IDC but still the same error the game is GTA V last update is 1.16 and game data info shows that am on that update 1.16
az-shabrani look in this thread:
it's not a update problem, but probably an excessive power consumption. if you have an usb hdd it must be powered from external source, not only by the ODE.
i dont understand i have to use mini-usb for extra power ? but my HDD is on external power too
i did used the mini-usb i used it on my pc and my phone charger still same error
yes if he has already its own power source ... I do not know, someone will given you the best advice, wait!
how did u power it ? what voltage ? maybe my phone charger cant feed the ode ?
in my case my ode is powered by the ps3(slim),
and the usb hdd (ode dedicated) is powered externally (12v/3A), like you i think.
if you connect a cable on the mini usb port, it powers the ode...
do you think your ode is not correctly powered!?
And this is that you described how to do it does not give me anything, I want to see how you remove the disc from the drive after finishing the game.
My question was, what happens if accidentally press DPDT switch.
Only you hear a rubbing sound. It doesn't give any harm. Only you hear a irritating voice.
u will hear a scratching sound and the ps3 will some how disconnect the power completely so u have to unplug/plug it back to work
probably you can scratch disc and destroy something else, like the lens...
I tested many times, no any scratching, if be any scratchin I would add a warrnin text, please be relax. However I don't offere while spinning the disc. That voice especially from disc holder (on the top one little circle piece).
ok sorry for doubt! but really thanks for the switch explanation!
No need to sorry Ofcourse somewhere sctraching but this is not shiny place of the disc (shiny= data side).
