Nintendo President Satoru Iwata told reporters that Wii U will launch in time for the crucial year-end shopping season
The statement by Nintendo President claims all regions; United States, Europe, Australia and Japan for the year-end season
Late last year, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata stated that E3 2012 would involve a re-unveiling for the company’s Wii U console.
Since then the scheduled for release was just an unspecified time in 2012, but now speaking with Reuters, Iwata has confirmed that Nintendo will release the Wii U before the end of the 2012 year and it will be launched in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia regions all in time the big year-end Holiday season.
Rumors are the Japan launch will only be a month ahead of the other regions, but still no price for the Wii U has ever been announced or even hinted at, nor it seems the 'final specs' have appeared as developers are still waiting for the final shipping hardware, which we most likely will not see revealed until this year's E3 in June.
