Ubisoft community developer Kimi Matsuzaki has just tweeted the following "Xbox Live – where you want to keep an eye on for the Big announcement". This seems to suggest it has something to do with the X10 event being held on Thursday.

The Final Fantasy XIII case as shown by GameStop has shown that the game will have DLC. Nothing more to add.

<blockquote>GameStop has posted the back of Final Fantasy XIII's box for the Xbox 360, and it reveals a few interesting details. On the back, it mentions various things, but the one that is most interesting is "Game-content Downloads'.

Recently, in a Dutch Official Playstation Magazine issue there was an interview with game producer Yoshinori Kitase where DLC was mentioned. Kitase stated that due to plans of having a simultaneous release, both Western and Japanese versions of the game would be identical. However, with the Western version taking a little longer than expected, they have prepared "a DLC but it will arrive a little later."</blockquote>

Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward has revealed that a 'care package' has been submitted to Microsoft on Friday. The update aims to fix a variety of glitches on Modern Warfare 2 including the XP glitch.

<blockquote>Still waiting for those glitches and bugs to be killed in your Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2? Well, if all goes to plan you shouldn't be waiting any longer, as Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling reveals that a “care package†was submitted to Microsoft on Friday, and is pending approval.

The reason for the delay appears to be Microsoft's certification process – the PC and PS3 versions have already been patched up and ready to go. It includes fixes that cover glitches for infinite care packages, Emergency Airdrop issues and Sentry Guns problems as well as the XP glitch.</blockquote>

2K Marin believes that console wars are a 'bit silly'. They believe that all the fan boy talk floods the critical channels and drowns out the useful creative feedback.

<blockquote>"From a development perspective, the console wars are a bit silly; our target is consistency, and it’s always kind of sad to see people throwing their energy into “platform partisanshipâ€, because it seems to flood the critical channels and drown out other creative discourse."

This is the sad truth about these system wars. If fanboys think that developers appreciate their flame wars, they're wrong. Arguing about review scores because publication X didn't give game Y a 9.5 does little to promote the merits of the game. It obscures that game's merits and overshadows them with silly controversies and mud-slinging. Fanboys aren't helping the developers and publishers that they so diligently defend. </blockquote>

EA's Peter Moore has claimed that he has definitely seen the PS3 motion control working and claims that it offers a different experience to the Wii's offering.

<blockquote>What do you make of the PS3 Motion Conrol - or 'Arc'. Isn't it just another Wiimote?

I've seen the technology working. I think it's going to be a great complement to what's out there. Sony will put their collective technology and marketing might behind it.

It's a different experience than Wii and we're watching it with great interest. As you might imagine, we're working on stuff - in particular on what sports can bring to it.

One thing we've learnt with the Wii is that we can afford [to spend time on building bespoke games]. The two that stand out in terms of authentic sports motion on Wii are golf and tennis. If you can capture that motion, that brings the game to life in a very unique way. We're looking at how we bring that sports credibility and authenticity to life with Sony's new...

A rather shabby report is claiming that MS may well be forced to cancel its points system on Xbox LIVE due to lawsuits regarding the service. We doubt this will happen unless their is some huge ruling against it.

<blockquote>There have been all sorts of complaints levelled against the Microsoft Points system since it was launched on Xbox Live, though it may be that the system may be done away with altogether following reports of a lawsuit being filed against the company. </blockquote>

Following on from the 'average' review of Final Fantasy XIII from Games Master comes news that the title has scored just 70 percent from PSM3. A shockingly low score which suggests this one may well disappoint a few fans!

A 23 year old woman who avoided playing the Wii due to her un-even boobs has finally done something about it! She has gone and had a form of boob job to even things up and her story is being reported by various UK news outlets.

<blockquote>But for Jane Hughes- Wynn, having one breast bigger than the other caused her years of discomfort, insecurity and unhappiness.

Not only was one breast one-and-a-half cup sizes bigger that the other, they were odd shaped, saggy and uncomfortable for Jane to disguise.

The counter manager at Debenhams would avoid the everyday girly things like sleep-overs and sharing a changing room on shopping trips, even something as normal as playing on a Wii.</blockquote>

Sony's CFO has revealed that the tablet market is certainly something they would like to be active in, even if they are a bit behind the Apple iPad currently. So, watch this space.

<blockquote>Hot on the heels of last month's iPad announcement and this week's Google tablet buzz, Sony has hinted that they too may be entering the tablet computer arena. Speaking at a Tokyo news conference, Nobuyuki Oneda, Sony's chief financial officer, said the company is "very interested" in the tablet market, and that the company hopes to create a product in that space.

"Time-wise we are a little behind the iPad but it's a space we would like to be an active player in," said Oneda. </blockquote>

Bungie has posted up a note that they are saddened that MS is to cut online support for original Xbox titles. However, they also look back fondly on the good times that their titles have had and want everyone to have one good last game on April 14th.

<blockquote>
We're all saddened at the realization that an era is coming to an end but looking back, we're incredibly fortunate to have had such a great run and such strong support from our fans. Halo 2 has been at or near the top of the Xbox LIVE charts for original games since it launched over five years ago. We're extremely thankful to everyone who has played, enjoyed and supported Halo 2 over Xbox LIVE. We've had some great fun together, including far too many humpday losses to even recount.

That said, mark your calendars now - on April 14th let's all rally to go online for one last hoorah. One final farewell and one final opportunity for all of you to kick our asses at Halo 2. </blockquote>

BioWare has gone on record to explain their decision to cut down the sex scenes in Mass Effect 2. As part of their explanation, they questioned whether certain people are actually mature enough for sex scenes and noted it is entirely their own decision on what to include.

<blockquote>"People who claim to be old enough and mature enough to handle sex and nudity in a game seem to believe that any lack of sex and nudity in the game is a sign of self-censorship," said BioWare's Stanley Woo on the game's forums. "They generally don't believe that a game can be called 'mature' without explicit sex and/or nudity."

"Let me tell you, folks, that as a developer full of mature individuals, we are also free to not have explicit sex and/or nudity in our games, no matter what you, Fox News, the government, or Bunky the Wonder Clown has to say about it. We have never considered it a 'problem,' it is simply a choice we have made and we have every right to make that choice."</blockquote>...

A report by The WSJ claims that Sony is losing just $18 per PS3 rather than the $37 loss they were making per unit in December last year. Apparently, the company is optimistic that they will make a profit on the hardware in 2011.

So some of the first reviews of BioShock 2 are in. And they are looking pretty decent. IGN has scored the game as a 9.1/10 claiming that it's a familiar experience BUT its improved gameplay and storyline make it a better game.

<blockquote>It's going to be a familiar experience for anyone that played the original, but BioShock 2's improvements to gameplay and its more focused storyline make for a game that's more playable and easier to digest. Some of the sense of awe and mystery is lost in transition, but the strength of the setting and more interesting implementation of moral choice make for an experience that's more consistent and rewarding. Anyone looking for a first-person shooter that offers more than flat, stereotypical characters and copy-and-paste supersoldier plots, one that attempts to establish a sense of right and wrong and loops you into the decision making process, and one that's set in one of the most vividly realized settings around should pick up BioShock 2....

The co-founder of GameKult has taken a trip down memory lane and reveals how Sony have been conducting 'shady' PR for some time. Apparently, they do CUT ads and blacklist journalists if they do not praise a game as they want. Moreover, they also reportedly threatened to SUE the website for reviewing a game on import game back in the PS2 days.

The full statement is up at <A href="http://www.gamekult.com/communaute/forum/voirmessage.html?foid=16505198" target="_blank">GK</a> and was declared in order to show Sony has a history of acting shady as most recently evidenced by the treatment over Heavy Rain.
