The Nintendo 3DS version features 'A Hunting Insect'

Seems you will be able to help in battling your enemies by using an 'Hunter Insect' to drain their powers!

This weeks edition of Famitsu has revealed that Monster Hunter 4 for the Nintendo 3DS will feature a hunting insect.

The insect, once released, can be used to suck up and drain your enemies health.

To use your new companion all you need to do is point and mark your target.

The hunting insect will fly straight towards it, drain its energy and then fly back to you and replenish your character with EX.

White EX increases your speed so hopefully this new companion will help you win some battles.

Seems Sega is set on bringing Skies of Arcadia back to your living room soon as they have recently renewed all their licenses and rights, trademarks for the famous Dreamcast game.

Sega has recently renewed the trademark for its highly regarded Skies of Arcadia which came out on the Dreamcast and the Gamecube.

The most likely reason for this renewal is that Sega is working on an HD remaster to join the likes of NiGHTS, Jet Set Radio and Sonic Adventure 2.

Just a week before Nintendo's big official announcement

Another leak has appeared from Wii U developers that might give us a clue on the Wii U power under the plastic shell!

Wii U will be powered by a CPU which features three IBM Power PC Cores, an AMD series 7 GPU and 1GB of memory available to games.

The console’s CPU is apparently formed of three IBM Power PC cores of an undefined clock speed, though reports suggest this to be lower than the Xbox 360 and PS3. The developers also say that the machine has 1GB of RAM available to games which is approximately twice that of the Xbox 360. The GPU is a custom AMD 7 series, supporting shader type 4 and DX10 type features, with embedded eDRAM.

“Wii U has a powerful GPU with more oomph than the rivals – and is more modern in architecture and shader support, which may come in handy later...

When the True Blue dongle first launched last year, it was originally using 'special' blu-ray discs to play games, instead of just DRMencoded eboots on the HDD.

But even after all the Paradox releases, there was a few games that only were available still on 'special' blu-ray discs. Over the course of last year, various groups try to figure out how to copy these discs, as they were sadly pirate stores that wish to sell them to their customers. Finally have much research the BD-Rom marks called 'BCA Codes' were figured out so they could by copied on normal blu-ray burner.

And now an person by the name 'OxweB' has leaked them onto the 'net, as basically they are useless now, but still it is part of sad scene PS3 history! :)
