That's right, the third iteration in the BioShock franchise has once again been delayed. Irrational cites 'primarily for polish and bug fixing' as the reason.

Irrational Games has again pushed back the release date of BioShock Infinite a month -from its initial February 26 release to March 26.

According to creative director Ken Levine, the delay is primarily for “polish and bug fixing.”

Sony has made available a web store for PlayStation games, movies and TV shows, called 'Sony Entertainment Network'. Purchases made online added to PS3 and Vita download lists. Europe-only for now.

That's right, Sony has quietly launched a new PSN web store in Europe.

With the new "Sony Entertainment Network" store, it is now possible to buy PSN content via a PC. It is now available in certain European regions, including the UK, but not in the United States or Canada as of yet.

Blocks 18+ games and trailers on the eShop.



It looks like Wii U systems in Europe are prohibiting users from accessing eShop for games and trailers rated PEGI 18+ between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m.!

Nintendo of Europe is blocking Wii U content in the region that is rated PEGI 18+ between the hours of 3 a.m. and 11 p.m.

So, under these stipulations, the four-hour window of 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. is the only time users can purchase games like ZombiU or Assassin's Creed III or even view trailers for such games!

Wii U grosses more than Wii at launch.



The NPD Group has released its US sales data for November 2012, showing that Black Ops 2 was the best-selling game. Xbox 360 sold 1.26M systems, and the Wii U sales total 425,000 during the period.

The NPD Group has shared its sales data for November, 2012, in the U.S.

Overall, total Software sales slid 11% to $1.46 billion compared to $1.65 billion a year ago. Hardware also took a hit during the month of November, with sales in this category dropping by 13% to $838.9 million, down from $962.2 million this time last year.

Square-Enix has released a new gameplay video from an Alpha build of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which as you may know, is the version 2.0 of the MMORPG for PC.

A Realm Reborn is scheduled to be released on the Q2 of 2013, on both the PC and PS3.

ARCHOS has announced that its 'GamePad' Android-powered handheld is now available for purchase in Europe and soon in the US.

ARCHOS has announced that its Android-powered GamePad tablet/handheld is now on sale in Europe for just €149.99.

The device has a 7-inch 1024x600 display between its controls, and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor with a Mali 400 MP GPU. The device has 8GB of internal storage (expandable by SDcard) and is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Sony has just released a BETA version of a Xperia Flash tool, which lets its Android devices return to stock ROMs.

Sony has made available an Xperia flash tool for some of its Android devices.

The new tool restores a smartphone to its default factory settings, returning the user experience to what it was out of the box. In doing so, Sony is giving anyone wary of tinkering with software an easy way to undo any mistakes or unwanted changes they've made.

Ubisoft working on a fix...



A bug in the new Assassin's Creed III DLC is wiping saves for some, on both XBOX 360 and PS3 versions. Ubisoft warns not to load game while DLC is downloading.

It looks like some Assassin's Creed III players are reporting in the official Ubisoft forums that after downloading the just launched "Hidden Secrets" DLC, their in-game progress has been wiped.

Apparently, Ubisoft is aware of the issue, which has affected both Xbox 360 and PS3 players. A representative noted the company is able to reproduce the problem, and is working on a fix or a workaround.
