A private BitTorrent tracker specialized in pre-2004 game releases

Site owners claim there was 'Copyright Watchdogs' coming after them for old games like FIFA '98, so to protect their users, they wiped out the site and IRC channel info regarding finding old games!

We all know how hard it is to find old 'retro games' on today's storeshelfs, even used game shops throw out games after they are a few generations old or even earlier, so 'Underground Gamer' was a torrent tracker and forums with people helping each other out in tracking down a copy of really old game like 'FIFA 98', but it seems even if the original publishers are long done and moved on, some 'Copyright Watchdogs' still care, and make it their business in going after this kind of 'retro trading' site.

Analyst Pachter, that Nintendo's Wii U will soon have only Nintendo games, no third-party publishers

Looking into his crystal ball, he predicts that if the big 'N' does not soon improve itself, you might be soon stuck playing only with Mario in your NintendoLand-Only universe on your Wii U.

We already know Nintendo is skipping the E3 themselves, but they setup 'Best Buy' as E3 partner with games to show, and are doing a six-city tour for people to get hands-on with the new Wii U, but when you look at the titles to try and coming soon, there is alot 'Nintendo-Published' titles, very little from Ubisoft or others, and EA has already stopped for now producing any new games.

Sorry our coverage of E3 will be an Microsoft and EA event

Is this the work of under-the-table Microsoft dollars?
Or does SpikeTV think the PS4 will suck so bad, its not even worth covering during the upcoming E3 event next week!

If you are Sony fan, you better visit the E3 in person, as the major news site GameTrailers and SpikeTV channel that has always covered all big press conferences from the E3, has decided this year only Microsoft and their XBOX ONE console along with EA are worth covering.

We all know Nintendo is planning their own 'Nintendo Direct', but for Sony and their new PS4 they have yet to announce any official streams for their press conference, so its up in the air, where you going to see some live footage, all tho 'DashHacks' promises to arrange something, and I am sure dozens of other smaller sites will be filling in...

With overall price-cuts for the older generation also

Pachter thinks that Sony will come with an 'lower' price then Microsoft for this new round of console wars

In a preview report about E3 issued by Pachter, he says since the new generation of consoles are only costing around $275 for factory BoM prices, then the price point they will start at this holiday buying season will be only $349 to $399, with Sony coming in lower then Microsoft due to the backlash they had before with the PS3 being so high at $599, but he also believes Microsoft with all their TV partners will be offering bundle deals via contracts to subsidised the price of the XB1.

Troubled developer Zynga has laid off 520 of its staff today, which is 18% of the company's employees. Their new goal: to refocus on mobile gaming.

Social game "giant" Zynga, best known for Facebook games like FarmVille, is cutting 520 jobs worldwide (18% of the company's workforce), and it's closing its Los Angeles, Dallas and New York-based studios.

Say researchers, using an 'malicious charger' which currently doesn't look nothing like Apple's

Security researchers have discovered a way to push software into an device using a modified charger. The team says its charger was able to upload arbitrary software to any iOS device within one minute

Ok, lucky it does not look like an Apple Charger, so really the mainstream media is just going overboard in reporting this news, and personally I think it is going to give nice little embedded boards like this one a bad name, just because a group decides to use it for their upcoming BlackHat demo on how they can upload code into an Apple iOS device via its 'charging cable', which we all know is alot more then just used for 'charging the device', even Apple themselves uses it to restore and update the firmware via your legit iTunes app.

Just like next-gen 'consoles', it seems next-gen 'smartphones' are switching over to x86 technology!

Report claims that Samsung has dropped the ARM that is used in almost all Android devices today, in exchange they are moving to Intel Dual-Core Mobile x86 technology to power their new generation!

Well if both Microsoft and Sony has switched over to the x86 cores, why not also for 'phones' or 'tablets', as the latest new Intel chips offer alot of x86 compute power, but still offer low-wattage and heat, perfect for throwing inside your nice 10" tablet, and it seems Samsung has decided to do just that, with their 3rd generation of Galaxy Tablets.

According to a staffer, the scrapped game was more than just a tech demo!

A staffer at Human Head Studios has spoken out regarding the studio's involvement in Prey 2.

It seems there is more to the story then we know regarding what happen to 'Prey 2', as a former game designer 'Jason Blair' as taken to Twitter to explain that game was basically finished by Human Head, before having its development team pulled by Bethesda.

Second-Screen Gaming Takes Center Stage

The first stop in a Six City Tour to get people to understand the idea of Wii U and the joy of the 'screen-screen' GamePad, is a few weeks in Orlando as part of Nintendo Disney, but free to visit!

Nintendo sent us a PR today, to make sure our valued MaxConsole readers, some of which might live in the area, or since school is now out taking their kids to Disney, and since Nintendo loves to always partner with Disney over the decades, they made Orlando their first stop on a six-city adventure to make sure people understand how wonderful the 'second-screen' is and hopefully they will slap one up this holiday buying season instead of those 'other boring non-fun, one screen consoles'.

Chinese health study claims children are getting dumber, as they now believe they have extra lives!

Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released a report showing that more than half the cities teenagers have less understanding about life and death than primary school children.

As usual another study that claims 'video games' are bad for us, this one thinks 'kids' are getting 'dumber' because they are learning about 'life and death' from 'video games', and growing percentage is believing that they have 'extra lives'.
